Our story begins back in 1978 with the opening of the family car workshop. Soon we have become known for high quality car repair services and selling new and used cars. Eventually we have rounded up our business portfolio to car rental, car insurance and car inspection, as well as production of buses and special vehicles.
Additionally we are offering a whole range of assistance services to domestic and European clients, starting with road and home assistance, medical services and much more. High-end vacation premises also contribute beautifully to our successful business story.

Our service technician Alen Ember and the Croatian team secured the second place in the Best Emobility Team category at the international competition Škoda Challenge 2024.
Ever since 2019, we are consistently among the TOP 5 best Croatian employers. In 2023, we secured 2nd place overall and 1st place in the Trade category. In previous years, we won 3rd place in 2019 and 2022, and 4th place in 2021 and 2020. The survey is conducted by the MojPosao.hr website, with votes provided by our own employees.
In June 2022, our sales advisor Tomislav Smolčić won the “Golden Badge” at the International ŠKODA Challenge for his dedication and success in sales.

Dino Štiber, AutoZubak car sales manager from our Varaždin branch, won 3rd place in the category of the best sales manager in the world.
Volkswagen, Audi and Škoda factories for years have been organizing a competition called Top Service. AutoZubak Audi services won awards in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, and AutoZubak Škoda service won in 2021.
In 2019, Nevenka Sever, car sales manager from our branch in Sesvetski Kraljevec won 3rd place in the Service Advisor category among 191 competitors from 32 countries.
Ever since he was a young boy, Ivan showed great interest for construction works, but love for cars prevailed. As a CEO he is responsible for overall group strategy. Beside that he is directly responsible for ORYX Assistance, ORYX Rent a car, human resource department, internal audit and research & development within Zubak Grupa.
Since he was a boy he loved to attend important meetings - then for play, now every day. He became a member of the Management Board in 2007 and is currently in charge of sales and after-sales of vehicles, IT department and holds the position of Executive director of the startup NEOSTAR.
As a big car fan Dubravko dreamed of being garbage truck driver. His childhood dreams luckily did not come true as he pursued his career in finance. He joined Zubak Grupa from Zagrebačka banka in 2006 as a member of the Management Board for corporate functions. His responsibilities include finance and controlling, accounting, legal and human resources, and asset management.
She grew up surrounded with car repair lifts and spare parts while her first toys were bolts and screws. As a child, she wanted to be a swimmer, which is why she has been successfully swimming in the marketing water since 2001. She was appointed as a member of the Management Board for marketing and corporate communications in 2013.

To show our solidarity during the Christmas season, we fulfilled wishes and donated €5,000 and gifts to the residents of the House of St. Francis, a home for children without parental care, at the end of 2023.
At the end of 2022, we recognized and financially supported the quality work and effort of the professional staff of Elementary School for children with mild and severe intellectual disibilities “Nad Lipom”.
In 2020 and 2021, we financially supported children suffering from malignant diseases and their families through the Love in Action Association.
Zubak Grupa employees stepped in for colleagues whose homes were destroyed Petrinja earthquake on December 29, 2020. In just a few days more than 70,000 kuna was raised. Zubak Grupa added another 235,500 kuna to that amount. Total amount of 307,000 kuna was donated to our colleagues.
In 2021, we donated original vehicles spare parts to two schools in the Sisak-Moslavina County, helping to create top experts in the domestic automotive industry.
From 2006 to 2014, we were proud holder of the title “Corporate friend of UNICEF”, and during that time we donated a total of 8 vehicles. We continued our cooperation in 2020, in the project of providing psychosocial support to children and families in the Sisak-Moslavina County, after the devastating earthquake, by providing them with 3 vehicles.
Through the humanitarian scholarship program “Igraj srcem”, which was run for 5 years in a row, we helped students with disabilities by providing them with the initial boost for start of their work careers.
ORYX Assistance provides year-round nutrition and health care for the scimitar oryx (oryx dammah) in the Zagreb ZOO.
In 2009, we donated a Škoda Fabia to the Association of dystrophic patients in our attempt to improve and facilitate the lives of people in need.
In 2006, AutoZubak donated two cars to the SOS Children’s Village Croatia – Seat Cordoba to SOS Children’s Village Lekenik and Škoda Fabia Combi to SOS Youth Association in Osijek.
In 2005, AutoZubak reconstructed and completely renovated the Laboratory for Engines and Vehicles in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb. Since 2004. AutoZubak is a proud sponsor of FSB Racing Team, group of young and enthusiastic students of aforementioned Faculty, on a mission to conceptualize, design and construct single seater race cars for the purpose of racing in European countries within a head organization – Formula Student.
In 2003, AutoZubak donated funds to the Faculty of Economics & Business for the renovation of the classroom and modern equipment paired with technical and visual accessories.
In 2003, AutoZubak donated a specially designed VW Caravelle vehicle to the Merkur Clinical Hospital Center for the needs of the medical transplant team.
